Musar Jeune Red wines are from our organically certified vineyards in the western Bekaa
Valley and the 2019 vintage was harvested in late August. 2019 was an abnormal weather
year in Lebanon with 3 months of continuous rain and snow but this was a welcome relief
after successive years of drought....

year in Lebanon with 3 months of continuous rain and snow but this was a welcome relief
after successive years of drought. May was mild with some rain and sun and overall this was
not a year of intense heat, resulting in red wines of somewhat discreet aromas but
concentrated palates with lots of depth and layers of taste. The reds of this year will achieve
big maturity with a strong potential for ageing.
The 2019 vintage is a blend of Cinsault, selected from vineyards with varying age of vines
(50%), Syrah (35%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%).
