Rich and flavourful, this still youthful Amarone has aromas of plum, prune and raisin along with notes of cigar box, graphite, warm herbal spices and smoke. Full bodied, with moderate acidity and some drying gripipy tannins on the palate. Fruit notes are dry and concentrated, with a great backbone of acidity, and a touch of that minerality with some sweet spicy hints. Finish is long and lingering. This wine is young and can be enjoyed for at least the next 5-8 years.
